Trailing nationally-ranked No. 22 St. Stephen & St. Agnes, 7-2 in to start the fourth quarter, the No. 11-ranked Jesuit Dallas lacrosse team scored five fourth quarter goals, including a pair of unanswered tallies to cut the lead to two with 1:33 remaining. However, the Saints were able to regain possession late and escape Postell Stadium with a 9-7 win over Jesuit on Thursday evening.

Senior McAllister Hobbs secured four goals on the night, including three during the Rangers' fourth-quarter rally. Sophomore Beckett Foley tacked on two goals as senior Charlie Metz added a goal in the third quarter. Senior Connor Knight made 10 saves on the night during three quarters in goal, and junior Cooper Coleman added a key save in the fourth quarter.

At the face-off "x" senior Will Reading secured 15 face-off wins in 20 attempts, racking up a team-leading 11 ground balls. Senior Jack Emery picked up a pair of caused turnovers and senior Charles Moran secured a team-leading three assists to aid in the Ranger effort. The Rangers went 16-for-19 in clear attempts and picked up 34 ground balls compared to 23 by the Saints.

After four straight out-of-state games, Jesuit will travel to Austin H.S. to battle the Maroons on Saturday, Mar. 26. Face-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
