Jesuit Dallas placed fourth at the annual Jay Brewer Memorial Tournament, hosted by Texarkana High School at Texarkana Country Club. Featuring several of the top teams in the state, the Blue and Gold recorded a strong performance against several impending regional and district foes, securing their third top-five team finish of the year in the process.
 
Junior Reese Roberts was the top finisher for the Rangers, shooting back-to-back rounds of 76 to place 13th with a 152 final score. Junior Nicholas Norris carded Jesuit's lowest round of the tournament with a three-over 75, wrapping up the tournament with a 153 to place 14th. Senior Max Chan (77-78, 155) placed 18th, junior Connor Chisum (78-79, 157) placed 23rd and sophomore Spencer Carter (84-78, 162) secured a 46th place finish to conclude the Jesuit Dallas lineup.
 
Jesuit secured a 616 total score, besting fifth-place TCA by six strokes, teaming up for a 306 score in the first round before picking up a 310 score in round two. The Woodlands scored a 597 to win the tournament, followed by Highland Park (603) and Houston Memorial (606).
 
The Rangers will return to the course on Oct. 24, when Jesuit will compete at the Lewisville Fall Fest at the Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton.
