The swimming and diving team posted two relay victories and eight individual victories en route to a 116-70 win over Coppell on Tuesday, October 17 at The Gull. The Rangers are 2-0 on the year, securing both wins this season by over 50 points.
Jesuit started the event with a victory in the 200 medley relay, as the team of
Jonah Ruhl,
William Savarese,
Luke Lary and
Sam Kennington beat the Cowboys by nearly a second, clocking a 1:39.93 to Coppell's 1:40.64. Sophomore
Sebastian Suwanda secured Jesuit's first individual win of the event with a 1:50.68 in the 200 free to win the race by over 10 seconds.
Ruhl scored a victory in the 200 Individual Medley, besting the field by seven seconds with a 2:00.48. Kennington scored a win in the 50 free with a 22.62, adding a 50.87 to win the 100 freestyle. Savarese scored wins in two events, winning the 100 fly with a 51.54 before a dominant, 4:36.40 in the 500 free that saw the senior topple the field by over 20 seconds. Ruhl would pick up Jesuit's final individual win of the evening with a 55.02 in the 100 back.
Luke Lary, Suwanda, Ruhl and Savarese would cap the dominant team performance with a win in the 400 free relay to end the meet, posting a total relay time of 3:19.05. Kennington, senior

Alexander McSorley and Suwanda finished in second in the 200 free relay with a 1:33.34.
Jesuit will head to Lewisville on Tuesday, October 14 for a matchup against Flower Mound, as the Rangers will look to improve to 3-0 on the year against the Jaguars. The Rangers will return to The Gull on Tuesday, November 28 for a tri-meet against Greenhill and Parish.
