A determined defensive effort and a flawless night from the Jesuit Dallas quarterbacks propelled the Rangers to their first shutout win since 2021 as the football team blanked Nimitz, 42-0, to jumpstart Homecoming Weekend at Ranger Stadium. The win sends Jesuit into the final two weeks of the regular season with a 5-3 record alongside a 4-3 mark in district play.

Will Naughton went 15-for-15 in pass attempts for a combined 257 yards and three touchdowns. Peters completed all three touchdown passes, finishing the contest with 171 yards on eight completions. Jesuit will face a short week to continue the season, heading into its second Thursday night game of the 2023 campaign with a 7 p.m. kickoff on the road against MacArthur. The Rangers will return to Ranger Stadium on Friday, Nov. 3 for the regular season finale against Richardson.
