Jesuit Defeats Highland Park to Maintain Unbeaten Start

Jesuit remained unbeaten on the year, scoring a 126-40 win over Highland Park on Saturday in Dallas. 
 
The Rangers opened the event with a 1:40.13 in the 200 medley relay. The quartet of Jonah Ruhl, William Savarese, Luke Lary and Sam Kennington upended the Scots by 1.62 seconds. Jesuit would sweep its way through the relay events, with the team of Lary, Teddy Scherer, Sebastian Suwanda and Kennington posting a 1:33.72 total relay time before Lary, Suwanda, Ruhl and Savarese won the 400 free relay with a 3:20.15.
 
Ruhl won two individual events, swimming a 1:48.19 to win the 200 free before a 55.37 captured the 100 backstroke. Savarese won the 200 I.M with a 1:52.56, Lary secured w win in the 100 fly with a 54.46 and Suwanda posted a 4:59.76 in the 500 free. The Rangers swept the top three spots in two events, with Kennington securing the win in the 50 free with a 23.25, followed by Alexander McSorley (24.07) and Scherer (24.09). Jaden Giunta won the 100 free with a 53.07, sparking a run that included a second-place finish from Kennington (53.65) and a third-place finish from McSorley (54.10).
 
Jesuit will next head to the North Zone TISCA meet, which is set to start on November 16 at the LISD Westside Natatorium.
