Jesuit Dallas swimming and diving posted a dominant win over Bishop Lynch to start the 2023 season, as the Rangers picked up a 131-22 victory on Sept. 23 at the Kaycee Pool in Dallas.
Sophomore
Luke Lary and freshman
Jonah Ruhl set the tone early, picking up two wins apiece in individual races. Lary opened his event with a win in the 200 free, hitting the wall in 2:00.34 before earning his second win of the meet with a 56.86 in the 100 butterfly. Ruhl won the 200 Individual Medley with a 2:02.74 and scored a win in the 100 backstroke with a 57.11.
Senior
William Savarese won the 50 free (22.92), sophomore
Sebastian Suwanda captured first in the 100 freestyle (51.36), and freshman Grant Wilson hit the wall first in the 100 breaststroke (1:10.04).
The Rangers picked up a pair of 1-2 finishes in relays, beginning with the 200 medley relay. The team of Savarese, Ruhl, Lary and Suwanda won the event in 1:45.36, while senior

Jackson Addison-Jordan and Lary won the 200 free with a 1:38.29, followed by a 1:38.64 from the team of McSorley, senior
Jacob Follett, senior Liam Weaver and Savarese finished second with a 1:38.64.
Jesuit will host its annual Intrasquad Meet on Thursday, September 28, and return to The Gull on Tuesday, October 17 to battle Coppell.
