Jesuit Dallas began the 2024 rugby season with a 26-0 shutout win over Celina, braving the elements to secure the shutout victory on Friday evening.
Senior Dylan Wachsman began the scoring for the Rangers, notching the team's first try of the season and finishing the contest with two tries and three made conversions for 16 total points. Seniors Daniel Lucido and Mitch Sullivan scored for the Rangers to help propel Jesuit to the win.
Jesuit will continue the season on Saturday, Feb. 3 when the Rangers welcome St. Thomas (Houston) to Ranger Stadium for Jesuit's 2024 home opener. The Rangers have won five straight against the Eagles and have held onto the Bishop's Cup since 2018. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m. on Feb. 3.
