Jesuit Dallas continued the 2024-25 season at the 2024 Ranger Challenge, held on September 28-29 at the Dallas Pistol Club in Carrollton, Texas. The event highlighted the Rangers' pistol and rifle team, serving as the first action for Jesuit's SASP contingent this season.
 
Senior 
Miles Trujillo won the rimfire pistol event with a time of 44.22, besting silver medalist Derrick Gray from Central Texas by 1.46 seconds. Trujillo, who was a 2024 SASP National Championship qualifier last season, opened his run with a stellar 6.63 in the "Go Fast" heat, the second-fastest heat among the field before adding a 12.47 in Focus, 12.77 in In-and-Out, and 12.35 in Speed Trap to secure the victory. Senior 
Santiago Valles (50.24) finished sixth, as senior 
Alex Adee (56.02 and junior 
Ford Carey (56.33) finished eighth and ninth, respectively. 
 
Trujillo finished second in the 1911 model shoot with a time of 51.39, then added a fourth place finish in the optics rifle with a 42.93. In optics rifle, Valles (46.82) placed sixth, followed by a seventh place finish by Adee (49.32). Senior 
Ryan Zito placed third in the iron rifle event, clocking a total time of 39.51, anchored by a 7.55 in the Go Fast heat. Junior 
Noah Nicosia placed seventh with a 45.5 total time.
 
Jesuit Dallas will continue the 2024-25 season on October 12-13, as Jesuit will compete at the NSCA Pre-Nationals Showdown. The 100 Sporting Clays event will take place at the Dallas Gun Club in Carrollton.
