The Jesuit Dallas competitive shooting team continued its march through the 2024-25 postseason with a fifth-place finish at the 2025 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) Regional Championships, held on May 2-4 at the Waco Gun Club in Waco, Texas.

In his final regional championship appearance, senior
Winn Moore finished third overall, collecting a total score of 287 during the three-event schedule. Moore began his run by hitting 97 of 100 clays in sporting clays to finish third in the event, then converted 95 targets in trap and skeet to place sixth and 11th, respectively.

Senior
Austin Larson finished fourth in sporting clays by hitting 95 targets, while senior
Carter Dubiel finished 30th after converting 91 targets. In the trap event, junior
Luke Goodman busted 92 clays to finish 14th, senior
Miles Lawson hit 91 targets to place 17th and senior
Alex Adee went 89-of-100 to finish 25th. In skeet, sophomore
Gavin Dourty placed 23rd with 93 targets, while Larson and Dubiel hit 93 and 92 targets to finish 24th and 28th, respectively.

Jesuit Dallas will return to action on June 7-8 at the SCTP International Bunker and Skeet State Championships, scheduled to take place at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio. The SCTP State Championships in 100 sporting clays, 100 trap and 100 skeet will follow on June 12-15 in San Antonio.
