Senior 
Winn Moore clinched the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) Northeast Buckle following another dominant performance at the 2025 Ranger Challenge Cup, held in Terrell, Texas on April 5.
 
Moore won the overall competition, hitting 94 of 100 targets to secure first place by two hits over Allen's Carson Jennings. Senior 
Alex Adee finished in ninth place with an 80, followed by another 80 from senior 
Miles Lawson. Senior 
Carter Dubiel placed 14th as 
Paul Thompson added a 15
th place finish, with both shooters hitting 74 targets. 
Grant Adee (73), 
Gavin Dourty (71), 
Bunker Hill (71) and 
Ryan Fitzgerald (69) rounded out the Jesuit Dallas lineup.
 
The Buckle Award is presented to a shooter that amasses the top combined score over the course of the 2024-25 regular season. Moore finished the season with a 708 total score, topping Jennings by six total targets.
 
With the regular season in the rear view, Jesuit will now turn its attention to the postseason. The Rangers will begin their postseason run at the 2025 SCTP DFW Championships, set for April 11-13 in Northlake, Texas. The three-day showcase will see the Rangers competing in skeet (50 targets), trap (50 targets) and sporting clays (100 targets).
