The Rangers continued their strong start to the 2024-25 shotgun season on Nov. 16, finishing third overall at the Texarkana Open. Jesuit logged four top-10 finishes at the event as the Blue and Gold followed a second-place finish at the SCTP Trap Opener on Nov. 9 with another spot on the podium in their first league shoot of the season.

Sophomore
Austin Larson led the way for the Rangers with a second place finish in the 100 trap event, hitting 92 of 100 targets. Sophomore
Gavin Dourty, who won the 100 trap shoot on Nov. 10, added another top-10 finish with a ninth place performance in Texarkana, busting 77 clays.
Bunker Hill (68 clays) and
Miles Lawson (60 clays) rounded out the Jesuit Dallas lineup, finishing 14th and 18th place, respectively.

In sporting clays, Hill led the Rangers by finishing fifth and destroying 87 clays. Larson (85), Lawson (81) and Dourty (80) finished sixth, 12th and 14th respectively to close out the Rangers' performance.

Jesuit will continue the 2024 portion of the season at the Waco Gun Club on December 14, where the Rangers will compete in 100 trap and 100 sporting clay shoots.
