The Jesuit Dallas Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) shotgun team finished third at the annual It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas shoot, held on December 14 in Waco, Texas.
 
Senior 
Winn Moore led the way for the Rangers with a fifth place finish in the sporting clays event, hitting 93 clays to place fifth overall in the event. Sophomore 
Paul Thompson placed ninth with 89 hits, followed by a 10th place finish by senior 
Austin Larson, who hit 88 targets. Senior 
Carter Dubiel and sophomore 
Gavin Dourty rounded out Jesuit's top-20 finishers, finishing 18th and 19th, respectively as both hit 85 targets.
 
Moore was the Rangers' top finisher in skeet shooting, hitting 92 of 100 potential targets to finish in tenth place. Sophomore 
Gavin Dourty busted 90 clays to finish 12th, senior 
Miles Lawson converted 88 targets to place 16th while seniors 
Myles Vinyard (87 clays) and Larson (86 clays) finished 18th and 20th respectively.
 
Jesuit will break for the holiday and return to SCTP competition on January 20, as the Blue and Gold will compete at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Skeet Doubles Open at the Ellis County Sportsman Club in Waxahachie.
