A late start due to a heavy rain storm did not deter the Jesuit Dallas rugby program, as the nationally-ranked No. 17 Rangers clinched the Rugby Texas North Division Championship with a 17-12 victory over Lake Travis on Thursday at Ranger Stadium.

Amiree Thomas and Mitch Sullivan secured the second and third tries for the Blue and Gold, as the Rangers were able to withstand a determined effort by the Cavaliers down the stretch to secure the divisional crown.
The Rangers will travel to Louisiana for their next match up, as the Blue and Gold will square off against Jesuit New Orleans on Friday, Mar. 8. Kick-off is set for 5 p.m. The Rangers will return to Ranger Stadium for back-to-back games, starting on Mar. 22 against Faith Family Academy before celebrating senior night against Plano Rugby Club on Apr. 5.
