A late rally by Jesuit Dallas fell a few goals short, as Torrey Pines used a six-goal scoring run during the second, third and fourth quarter to ultimately upend the Rangers, 9-6, on Saturday at Ranger Stadium.
 
Seniors Beckett Foley and Nick Jahn scored two goals apiece while sophomore Wil Fagan and senior Jackson Raymond also found the back of the net. Junior Jack Freeman made five saves in the cage and picked up an assist on a jaw-dropping, full-field pass to Foley for a goal as time expired in the first quarter. Senior Brodie Hobbs added an assist to the Jesuit effort.
 
Junior Caleb Caldwell went 14-of-19 at the face off "x" while racking up a team-high 10 ground balls. Senior Cooper feathers led the team with two caused turnovers while additional turnovers were caused by seniors Henry Hambleton, Greyson Kissock, Keegan McGarity, Ty Robertson and junior Anthony Pierce.
 
Jesuit will return to divisional action on Friday, April 5 when the Rangers take on rival Episcopal School of Dallas at Ranger Stadium. Face-off between the Rangers and Eagles is set for 7:30 p.m.
