Jesuit Dallas punched its ticket to the 2024 Rugby Texas Varsity Cup Championship game with a hard-fought, 15-3 win over Lake Travis on April 19 at Ranger Stadium. 
 
Both teams battled, as the contest turned into a war of attrition with both teams trading possession throughout the first half. Jesuit broke through with first half tries by seniors Jake Sullivan and Luke Lamont, with an additional successful conversion by senior Dylan Wachsman spotting the Blue and Gold a 12-3 lead at halftime. Wachsman would add a successful penalty in the second half to increase the Jesuit lead to 12 points. 
 
The Rangers kept the Cavaliers out of the goal area down the stretch to secure the win and earn their trip to the Varsity Cup Final. Jesuit will battle Strake Jesuit on April 27. Kick-off between the Rangers and Crusaders is set for 7 p.m.
