Jesuit Dallas finished second at the 2024 Ranger Relays, held on Saturday, September 28 at the Lindley Aquatic Center on the campus of Southern Methodist University.
This year's Ranger Relays event continued the tradition of providing student-athletes with the opportunity to compete in uncommon relay races. One such event that provided Jesuit with an opportunity to secure a first place finish as the 400 medley relay, in which each of the four participants swam a 100 individual medley to contribute to the team total. Jackson Addison-Jordan and Ruhl also secured a silver medal with a 3:18.70.

Michael Sanmiguel and sophomore Grant Wilson earned bronze with a 2:06.24, followed by a fifth-place finish with the team of freshman Javier Ruiz, sophomore
Andrew Cook, freshman Diego Sebulveda and freshman Enrique Ordaz placed fifth with a 2:26.61. The 200 backstroke relay team of senior

Michael Tobin finished fourth with a 1:51.26.
The final event of the afternoon saw the teams compete in a relay-race knockout. Jesuit advanced to the final of the shootout, with Kennington, Suwanda and Ruhl winning heats for the Rangers before the Dragons were able to edge Lary by one-tenth of a second to defeat the Rangers.
Jesuit's blue team closed out the event with 224 points to place second overall, trailing only first place Southlake Carroll (Green), who secured 274 points. Jesuit's red team placed 10th with 90 points on the day. The Rangers will return to The Gull on Tuesday, October 15 to compete in their second dual meet of the year against Coppell. The event will begin with diving at 4:15 p.m., followed by swimming at 5:30 p.m.
