Jesuit Dallas competitive shooting returned to the range on February 1, securing several top-10 finishes in the annual early spring season showcase in San Antonio.

Paul Thompson each secured seventh place finishes in their respective events. Dourty busted 92 clays in the skeet to place eighth, Larson hit 91 targets to finish seventh in trap and Thompson converted 77 targets to place seventh in sporting clays.Â

Larson would add a 15th place finish in sporting clays with a 68 and a 17th place finish in skeet with 83 busted targets. Thompson tacked on a 16th place finish with an 86 in the skeet and Dourty placed 17th in trap (85 of 100) and 18th in sporting clays (64 of 100). Junior
Bunker Hill impressed with a 16th place finish in sporting clays (66 of 100) alongside 21st place finishes in skeet (71 of 100) and trap (78 of 100). Senior
Alejandro Acosta placed 21st in skeet (71 of 100) and 24th in trap (76 of 100) while sophomore
Andres Acosta tacked on a 20th place finish in sporting clays (54/100), 22nd place in skeet (67/100) and 27th in trap (69/100).

The Rangers will return to action on Saturday, February 15, when the Blue and Gold will head to Waxahachie to compete in the Winter Blast Skeet and Sporting Clay events.
