Jesuit's stellar run at the Ninth Annual Hoosier Cup ended on Monday as Jesuit dropped a 4-3 overtime decision to St. Edwards (Ohio) at Compton Family Ice Arena on the campus of Notre Dame.
Sophomore
Maxwell Reynolds concluded a stellar run at the tournament with another goal against St. Edwards. After opening the tournament with two goals against DeMatha Catholic (Md.), Reynolds would secure a hat trick against Calvert Hall (Md.) and add an additional tally against Bishop O'Connell (Va.), finishing the tournament with seven goals over the Rangers' four games. Nathan Morris would secure the Rangers' second goal of the contest.
Jesuit will now turn its attention back to the AT&T Metroplex Hockey League playoffs as the Rangers will square off against tournament top-seed McKinney in its second game of the round robin tournament. Puck drop between the Rangers and McKinney is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the StarCenter in Plano.
