Winn Moore returned to the top of the podium as one of two medal recipients at the 2025 Winter Blast trap and sporting clays shoot, held on Feb. 15 in Waxahachie.

Moore won two golds during the event, opening a dominant performance with a gold in skeet. The senior busted 73 of 100 clays en route to the victory. Moore then captured gold in sporting clays, converting 89 targets to continue his dominant senior season. Senior
Carter Dubiel was the Rangers' second-highest finisher in both events, earning a bronze in the skeet with 71 clays before hitting 82 targets in sporting clays to place fifth.Â

Luke Goodman finished 10th in skeet (67-of-100) and sixth in sporting clays (82-of-100) while sophomore
Paul Thompson was the team's third-highest finisher in sporting clays (81) while placing 14th in skeet (64). Senior
Austin Larson finished ninth in skeet (67) and 13th in sporting clays (76).

Jesuit will face a quick turnaround as the Rangers will compete in the President's Day Cup on Monday, February 17. The meet is scheduled to take place at the Waco Gun Club.
