Jesuit Dallas closed out the regular season portion of the 2025 season, finishing second at the Jesuit Dallas Invitational on Thursday at the Dell Performance Center following a 13th place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational on February 1 in Forney.

The Rangers were powered by four first-place finishers. Senior
Royce Szarzynski won the 198-pound division, opening his performance with a stellar 495-pound squat, the best squat of the meet above all weight classes. Szarzynski would total 1,230 pounds, another meet-leading performance, with a 275-pound bench press and 460-pound dead lift. Senior
Kevin Martinez won the 220-pound division with a 1,170 total lift, logging a 475-pound squat, 245-pound bench press and 450-pound dead lift.

Eddie Gonzalez won the 148-pound division, securing a 1,010 total with a strong performance in squat (365), bench press (240) and dead lift (405), while senior
Caiden Pendola racked up a 405 pound squat, 250 pound bench press and 415 pound dead lift for a victorious 1,070 total. Jesuit Dallas saw two Rangers secure silver medals as sophomores Darren Clemens and
Wilson Watkins each finished second. Junior
Jonathan Wrightsman capped Jesuit's top-five finishers, placing fourth in the 181-pound division.

At the stacked Jackrabbit Invitational that featured 188 powerlifters, Clemons and Szarzynski were the Rangers' top finishers as both lifters secured fourth-place finishes. Szarzynski logged Jesuit's top total lift of the meet, recording a total of 1,205 pounds with a 485-pound squat, 270-pound bench press and 450-pound deadlift. Clemons added 255 pounds on the squat, 160 pounds on the bench and 275 pounds on the deadlift to total 690 pounds.Â

Watkins and Gonzalez each placed ninth at 198 and 148 pounds, respectively while a 19th place finish by Wrightsman (181lb) and a 20th place finish from senior
Ryan Zito (165lb) completed the Jesuit Dallas lineup.

Jesuit will return to action on Thursday, March 6 at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association (THSPA) Regional Championships.
