ROYCE CITY, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas powerlifting team competed in its first event of the season, finshing in seventh place at the Royce City HS meet on Wednesday.

Diego Park lifted a combined weight of 665 points to finish in third place in the 123-pound weight class. Jack Warren and Wilson Watkins collected fourth place finishes in the 132 and 198 pound classes, respectively. Watkins 1,235 pounds was the most by a ranger at the event, which featured 25 schools.

The weight is a combination of a squat, bench press and dead lift.

Jesuit's next competition will be Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Forney Invitational.
