Sophomore Darren Clemons finished sixth at the 2025 Texas High School Powerlifting Association Region III Division I Championships, held on March 6 at Arp High School.
 
Clemons totaled 715 pounds with a 225-pound squat, a 160-pound bench press and a 300-pound dead lift. The performance marks Clemons' best combined lift of the season as he matched his best squat, hit a 160-pound bench press for the third time this season and increased his dead lift max by 25 pounds.
 
The Rangers close out the 2024-25 season with Clemons' regional championship appearance. Jesuit finished second at its home invitational, hosted at the Dell Performance Center on February 6.
