Jesuit Dallas lacrosse picked up a pair of wins during a two-game spring break trip to Los Angeles, securing a 15-8 win over Brophy (Ariz.) on March 8 before upending Loyola (Calif.), 13-8, on March 10. With the two wins, Jesuit moves to 4-3 on the season ahead of a weekend trip to St. Louis, Missouri on March 22-23.

Caleb Caldwell controlled the pace of Jesuit's trip-opening win over Brophy, winning 22-of-26 faceoffs while adding a team-leading 17 ground balls. Junior
Andrew Ditchman led the charge offensively with four goals, followed by hat tricks from juniors

Cayden Bartusek. Junior
Jack Lynch found the back of the net twice as seniors
Declan McGarity, Caldwell and junior Mashall Sorokwasz scored one goal apiece. McGarity led the team with two assists on the afternoon as Jesuit's scoring column was completed by assists from Atwell, Bartusek and junior
Gabriel James.

In goal, James made three saves in the opening half before sophomore
Declan Kissock took over in the third quarter. Kissock made seven saves down the stretch to pick up the win, holding Brophy to one goal in the second half.

Bartusek secured a team-leading four goals against Loyola, followed by three goals from Sorokwasz, two goals from Atwell and Lynch, and one goal apiece from Ditchman and sophomore
J.C. Fife. Atwell picked up three assists as McGarity secured two assists on the day. James excelled in the cage, making 17 saves to pick up the win, and Caldwell added 14 more face-off wins to a strong weekend total, closing out the matchup with 12 saves.

Jesuit will travel out-of-state for a two-game schedule on March 22-23, beginning with a 2:30 p.m. matchup against De Smet Jesuit on March 22. The Rangers will close out the weekend trip with a showdown against SLUH at 11:30 a.m. on March 23. Jesuit will return to Ranger Stadium on March 29, when the Blue and Gold will square off against Torrey Pines (Calif.) at 6 p.m.
