Jesuit Dallas opened the Lake Travis Invitational with a commanding 8-2 victory over Sinton on Thursday at Dripping Springs H.S. 
 
Junior Braxton Barber led the charge with a 2-for-4 performance from the plate, driving in two runs from the leadoff spot. Senior Jake Fults and junior Charlie Wilson drove in one additional run apiece as Wilson added a team-high three runs scored while Barber and senior E'mar Fleming II each recorded a double.
 
Senior Asher Levy earned the win on the mound, throwing 6.2 innings while striking out three batters. Sophomore Cooper Patton shut the door on the Pirates in the bottom of the seventh inning to help the Rangers clinch the victory.
 
The Rangers will continue the Lake Travis Invitational on Friday with two games at Lake Travis High School. Jesuit's double header will start against Stony Point at 2 p.m., followed by a matchup against Lake Travis at 4:30 p.m.
