The Rangers closed the regular season with another strong performance, celebrating senior night with a 12-5 win over Southlake Carroll on April 25 at Ranger Stadium. Jesuit Dallas will head into the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) Class AA State Tournament as the No. 5 seed, and will travel to Austin to battle Westlake on Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m.

Gabriel James made six saves in the cage for the Rangers, as Jesuit was able to create chaos for a Dragons' offense that was out-shot by the Blue and Gold, 36-21.

Westlake finished the regular season with an 11-2 record and enters the playoffs on a five-game winning streak. The two teams met earlier this season, with the Chaps securing a 15-9 win over the Rangers on February 8. The winner of Saturday's showdown will meet either top-seeded Highland Park or No. 8 seed Cy Woods in the THSLL State Semifinal on May 10.
