MCKINNEY, Texas - The Jesuit Dallas ice hockey team scored four goals in a span of four minutes in the second period to pull away and defeat McKinney, 6-0, at the StarCenter on Wednesday night.
Jesuit got goals from six different players and assists from seven different Rangers.
Wade Bryan took a pass from
William Hubbell - who assisted on the first two goals -Â to score what turned out to be the game-winner with six seconds remaining in the opening period. The four goals in the second frame came from
Nathan Morris, Benjamin Khalil,
Maxwell Reynolds and
Allen Zhang.
Luke Gutierrez found the back of the net late in the third to round out the scoring.
Thomas Strand stopped all 13 shots he faced to pick up his first shutout of the season.
Jesuit improved 16-7 on the year as it outshot McKinney 35-13.
The Rangers will return to action next Wednesday against Frisco at 7 p.m. The game will be played at the Plano StarCenter.
