McKINNEY, Texas — Facing a premier field featuring many of North Texas' top cross country programs, the Jesuit Dallas cross country team delivered a disciplined, 10th-place performance at the McKinney Boyd Bronco Stampede on Saturday morning at Myers Park.

Competing in the Elite 5,000-Meter Division, the Rangers logged 286 team points in a crowded 22-team field.

Oliver Crane led the group with a 44th place effort, competing the team's first 5k race of the season in 17:06. Aiden McGuire was three seconds back and Ethan Speer came in at 17:20. The other scoring members of the Rangers in the Elite race included Carter Witt (17:28), Mateo Saenz (17:37) and Jacob Guyette (17:51).

Jesuit Dallas will return to action next week when the team travels to compete in the Rick Neill Invitational in Lewisville on Thursday and the Hoka McNeill Invitational in Round Rock.
