The Jesuit Dallas baseball team, ranked No. 15 in the most recent 
TXHighSchoolBaseball.com 6A State Rankings, remained unbeaten in University Interscholastic League (UIL) District 9-6A with a 5-2 win over Skyline on Tuesday evening at Skyline High School.
Junior 
Jacob Palisch moved to 3-0 on the year with an eight-strikeout performance, while the Jesuit bats picked up five runs on nine hits.  Senior 
Matt Horvath went 2-for-3 from the plate, driving in a run during the fourth inning.  Seniors 
Jared Kengott and 
Pete Hamrick also picked up a pair of hits each, with Kengott crossing the plate twice to lead the squad. 
Senior 
Connor Lynch and junior 
Mark Ready drove in additional runs for the Blue and Gold (15-4-2, 3-0-0), while seniors 
Kyle Muller and 
Bryce Bonner added a hit apiece.
Hamrick scored in the first inning on a Skyline error, and the Jesuit lead improved to 2-0 when Lynch scored on another Raider error in the second.  Kengott launched a one-out double to right in the fourth, and then was driven home with a single left by Horvath for the Rangers' third run of the game. 
After Skyline scored in the bottom of the fourth, Jesuit Dallas added a run in the sixth off of a sacrifice fly by Lynch to score Horvath, who tripled to lead off the inning.  Ready singled through the left side in the seventh, plating Muller to close out the Jesuit scoring.  Palisch struck out two of the three batters in the bottom of the frame to clinch the Ranger victory.
Jesuit Dallas will next host Skyline on Thursday, Mar. 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Wright Field.  The contest will host "Bark in the Park" night, where fans are welcome to bring their dogs to the ballpark.  Owners who bring their dogs will receive a free dog treat for their pet, and will be able to purchase a $1 hot dog.
