Kyle Muller logged his 13th home run of the season, a three-run blast in the first inning to jump-start the scoring for the Rangers (21-5-2, 9-1-0), who improve their winning streak to three games. Junior
JT Mix led the team with three hits, finishing the afternoon 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI.Â

JJ Montenegro secured his fourth win on the mound this season with a seven-strikeout performance, going four innings and allowing two runs on six hits. The Rangers' 14 runs on Friday ties the second-highest scoring output of the season for the Blue And Gold, the first time that the Rangers have scored 14 runs since a 14-0 win over Skyline on Mar. 24.
Jesuit Dallas scored four runs in the top of the first, three coming on Muller's rocket three-run home run. Senior
Matt Horvath, who signed with Spring Hill College on Wednesday, doubled to left field to score Guzman and close the scoring for Jesuit.
The second inning scoring began when Lynch crossed the plate on a fielding error, followed by a two-run single to center by Guzman that scored Muller and Mix. Senior

Alex Lengyel before another W.T. White error allowed Guzman to score.  Mix laced a two-run double to left, followed by a two-run single through the left side by Hamrick that scored Lynch and Mix, closing a nine-run Jesuit second.

Chris Campagna. Junior Heath VanKirk entered in the fifth and retired the Longhorns in seven pitches to clinch the run-rule victory for the Rangers.
Jesuit Dallas will travel to MacArthur High School on Tuesday, Apr. 19 to battle the Cardinals, beginning a two-game series with MacArthur while holding a one-game lead over second-place Nimitz for the division lead. First pitch against the Cardinals is scheduled for 7 p.m.
