After a scoreless first, the Rangers broke through after a second-inning double to right field by Lynch plated Hamrick, who cracked a one-out single to left field for the team's first run of the game. A third-inning

Muller scored Mix on a sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth, but Nimitz struck again in the bottom of the inning with four more runs to take an 8-3 lead into the fifth. Bond logged another sacrifice fly for the Rangers, plating Campagna, but Jesuit left four runners on base over the last three innings, allowing Nimitz to shut the door on a comeback for the Blue and Gold.
Jesuit Dallas will aim to rebound on Friday, Apr. 8, when the Rangers battle the Vikings at Wright Field.
