The Rangers continued their strong start to the season intact with a 107-61 win over Greenhill on Wednesday, Nov. 28 in Addison, Texas. Jesuit scored eight individual victories and 19 top-two finishes to remain unbeaten in dual meets this season.
Freshman
Jackson Summers kicked off a 1-2-3 finish in the 50 free with a winning time of 23.08. Summers was followed by a 23.24 from sophomore
William McKinney and a 24.04 by senior
Sean Holden. Jesuit swept its way through the individual freestyle events as sophomore
Ryan Peckham scored a 100 free victory in 54.71 before junior
Ivan Lopez posted a 2:00.84 to capture the 200 free event. Senior
Ryan Brown scored a 5:59.99 in the 500 free to complete the individual sweep.
Jesuit swept the three relay events, anchored by a season-best 1:35.88 in the 200 free relay by the team of McKinney, Peckham, Holden and freshman
Alexander Hung. The Rangers tacked on victories in both the 400 free relay, won in 3:34.45 by Hung, Savarese, Summers and Chong, and the 200 medley, swam by Brown, Holden, Lopez and Summers. Hung tacked on a 58.41 in the 100 fly to earn Jesuit's final individual win of the meet.
Savarese added a second-place 56.95 in the 100 free as freshman
Blake Butz tacked on a 2:21.85 to finish third in the 200 free. Sophomore Alex Chong finished in third place in the 200 IM, clocking a 2:20.25 to log the team's top finish in the event. Lopez finished second in the 100 back with a 56.72, and Holden tacked on a 1:09.75 in the 100 breast to finish in second place.
Jesuit will officially close the fall campaign on Monday, Nov. 10 against J.J. Pearce, and return to the pool on Jan. 8 in a tri-meet against Plano West and Flower Mound.
