Jesuit continued an electric start to the 2019 season with a sweep of Allen and Prosper on Tuesday at Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium. The Rangers upended Allen, 112-74, and capped the sweep with a 105-80 victory over Prosper.
The Rangers swung momentum in their favor with a win in the 200 free relay as the team of sophomores

Jackson Summers recorded a 1:32.02 total relay time to score the win. Hung started the race with a 22.79 leadoff leg, followed by a 23.02 from Savarese and a 22.88 from McKinney before a 23.33 by Summers capped the victory. Jesuit's second relay team, consisting of junior Alec Chong, senior

McKinney scored a pair of wins, providing a charge for a Ranger contingent which continued the early-season trend of peppering the top four leaderboard to secure points against opponents. McKinney captured the 200 I.M. with a time of 1:59.97, but junior
Ryan Peckham also impressed in the event, dropping 1.6 seconds off of his seed time to finish second with a 2:02.53. McKinney scored his second win of the meet, dropping 4.57 seconds off of his seed time in the 100 breast to hit the wall in 1:01.35 and win by 0.6 seconds.
Junior
Jack Young earned a victory in diving, dominating the field with a 197.60 over six dives, besting Ryan Dimmick from Prosper by over 50 points. Butz would provide additional points for the Rangers with a third-place, 124.05 score.
Hung anchored Jesuit's 200 medley team event with a 22.74 50-free split, joining Brown, junior
Kevin Grant and senior
Ivan Lopez for a 1:42.95 total relay time. One of three sub-23 second splits on the day for the sophomore, Hung recorded Jesuit's best time of the season in the 50 free with a victorious 22.67.
Sophomore
Jackson Summers added another season-best time in the 100 free, hitting the wall in 50.29 to finish second. Peckham added a second-place, 4:57.62 in the 500 free, cutting 1.41 seconds off of his seed time, as Bowman finished third with a 4:59.66. Freshman
Palmer Bowman, Peckham, junior Alec Chong and Butz placed fourth in the 200 medley relay with a 1:48.34.
Sophomore
James Savarese recorded a 1:49.58 in the 200 free to place second, followed by a third-place, 1:50.79 by classmate Summers. Savarese would add a 55.51 in the 100 back as Lopez and Hung swam 55.12 and 56.21, respectively, in the 100 fly to finish third and fourth.
Jesuit will continue the season on Wednesday, Nov. 5 when the Rangers travel to Highland Park H.S. for a Tollway Series matchup against the Scots. The Rangers' penultimate dual meet of the fall season will additionally serve as the final warmup prior to the North Zone TISCA meet on Nov. 15-16. Jesuit will close the fall slate on Nov. 20 against Greenhill.
