Four sub-par rounds anchored Jesuit to a seventh-place finish at the Lanny Watkins Challenge on Sept. 11-12 at the Texas Rangers Golf Club. Sophomore Ben DeLaRosa led the charge with a sixth-place finish, finishing the two-round tournament four-under for the tournament.
DeLaRosa opened the tournament with a 71 before recording a three-under, career-low 69 in the second round to pick up his final total. The sophomore picked up his fourth all-time top 10 finish with the performance and opens his sophomore season with a tournament featuring only sub-par rounds for the first time in his varsity career.

AJ Adams shot a team-low 67 in the second round to place 20th overall with a 145. Senior
James Farmer placed 28th overall, turning in a one-under 71 on Saturday. Senior
Max Reimer was Jesuit's final golfer with a sub-par round at the tournament, scoring a 69 on Saturday to place 30th overall.
Junior
Oliver Naumann (74-78) finished 33rd, fellow third year
Sean Mello (75-79) placed 37th and junior
Michael Lohner earned a 45th place finish. Junior
Hunter Pratt (79-80), sophomore Tate Williams (85-83) and junior Josh Estes (86-88) placed 54th, 61st and 67th respectively to round out the Jesuit lineup.
The Ranger varsity team will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 6, when the Blue and Gold travel to Carrollton, Texas to play in a tournament hosted by Lewisville H.S. at Indian Creek Golf Club.
