Rangers Hope Explosive Offense Carries into Playoffs: Jesuit Dallas, the No. 2 seed out of District 7-6A, enters the posteason with an offense that averages 3.2 goals per game. Senior Cullen Scott finished the season tied for 10th in the Metroplex with 18 goals, followed closely behind by senior Ryan Shea, who racked up 15 tallies on the season. The Jesuit defense, anchored by sophomore goalkeeper Cole Hines, shut out three district foes this season.
Bowie Aims to Continue Winning Streak on Friday: The Volunteers closed out the regular season with back-to-back wins, upending Arlington, 3-0, on Mar. 16 before wrapping up the No. 3 seed in the district with a 1-0 win over Sam Houston. Bowie has been gathering momenum heading into the postseason, capturing wins in four of its last six games, and picked up three shutouts in the month of March.
Up Next: The winner of tonight's bi-district round matchup will advance to either play Denton Guyer or Flower Mound Marcus in the area round. Flower Mound Marcus closed the regular season as the top-ranked team in the area with an 18-2-3 record while Guyer ended the season ranked eighth in the Metroplex with a 12-3-1 mark on the year. The Marauders and Wildcats will square off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 26 at Marcus H.S., which is 3.6 miles away from tonight's game location.
