After upending Richardson on Monday, Jesuit Dallas rebounded nicely from its first district loss of the season with a 5-0 win over Berkner on Friday, celebrating senior night in resounding fashion at Postell Stadium. Jesuit Dallas defeated Richardson, 3-0, at Eagle-Mustang Stadium before suffering a 3-0 setback to Nimitz on Tuesday in Irving, Texas.
Â
Jesuit Dallas faced one of its toughest tests of the year against Richardson, as the game Eagles attempted to knock the Rangers off of the top of the division standings. Richardson pushed the pace for most of the game, but the Ranger counter game paid off dividends to help propel the Blue and Gold to the win. Senior
Cullen Scott scored two goals to lead the way for Jesuit as senior
Santiago Day added a goal to the Ranger effort. Seniors
Spence Gilker and
Ryan Shea added assists while the Jesuit Dallas defense and sophomore goalkeeper
Cole Hines were able to help propel Jesuit to another district shutout.
Â
Nimitz scored early on a Jesuit Dallas own goal, and was able to limit the effective Jesuit Dallas offense to snap the Rangers' winning streak. Tuesday's setback ended a 12-game unbeaten streak that dated back to Jan. 9, and marked the first time this season that Jesuit Dallas was held without a goal.
Â
Jesuit rebounded quickly against Berkner, scoring soon after the opening whistle on the first of three goals by Scott. Senior
Benton Bacile picked up an assist on a goal by Day in the 21
st minute before senior

th minute to give Jesuit its third tally of the game. Junior Arnold Perez Valenzuela assisted on Scott's second goal of the game before Scott completed the hat trick in the 61
st minute off of assists by Visintainer and junior
