Jesuit Dallas wrapped its first season in the David A. Segal Family Aquatic Center with a convincing win over Highland Park on Tuesday, upending the Scots, 116-67. The swimming and diving team will begin the postseason after concluding the regular season with a 7-1 record.
Sophomore
William Savarese set two new pool records, first earning the mark in the 200 Individual Medley, hitting the wall in 1:55.69 to capture a 10-second win in the event. The sophomore then added a 4:40.99 in the 500 free, winning the event by over a minute and besting the previous record by over eight seconds.

William Savarese set a new pool record by 0.08 seconds, recording a total relay time of 1:31.40 to top the previous mark set by Frisco Wakeland last Tuesday.
Bowman secured a win for the Rangers in the 100 back, taking first with a 57.76 in the event to spark a 1-2 finish with senior
James Savarese, who placed second with a 58.79. Jesuit's 400 relay team of

William Savarese capped the meet with a 3:27.03 first-place finish.
Senior
Leonardo Pelaez picked up two wins on the evening, the first coming from a 1:46.90 in the 200 free before adding a 48.75 in the 100 free, a mark that narrowly missed a new pool record. Sophomore
Thatch Balady led a 1-2-3 sweep in the one-meter dive event with a 186.45, a score followed by a 175.20 by sophomore Sam An and a 140.92 by senior
Andrew Brown. Senior
Alexander Hung won the 100 fly in 55.41 and finished second in the 50 free (22.77), and Giunta was Jesuit's top finisher in the 100 breast with a third-place, 1:08.20.
Jesuit will next compete at the District 8-6A Swimming & Diving Championships, set for Jan. 28 at the Loos Aquatic Center in Addison, Texas. The Rangers will aim to secure their third straight district crown at the annual event.
