The Rangers came storming back from a first quarter deficit, whittling a double-digit Lake Highlands lead to two points with 1:29 remaining in the second, but the state's top-ranked team distanced themselves from the upset-minded Rangers in the second half to secure a 72-47 win over the Blue and Gold on Tuesday at Lake Highlands H.S.

Hank Gramlich scored seven points apiece, with Mathie adding a team-leading six rebounds. Senior

Hampton Aldridge each secured two steals.
