Jesuit held Pearce to eight points in the first half, building a decisive lead that the Blue and Gold were able to hold onto own the stretch for a 56-44 win over the Mustangs in front of a passionate crowd on Friday at Walsh Gym.

Dylan Gibbons picked up a team-leading six rebounds alongside seven points. Senior

Hank Gramlich scored seven points with four assists, and senior
Owen Berry added five points to the Jesuit effort.
Jesuit out-rebounded Pearce, 40-21, scored 26 points in the paint and added 11 offensive rebounds for 14 second-chance points. The Rangers limited the Mustangs to a 31.3 shooting percentage and a 25.0 percent clip from three-point range.
On Tuesday, Jesuit Dallas will return to Walsh Gym to take on Irving. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
