Aggressive Offense Propels Jesuit Dallas Past Richardson

Junior Luke Isett threw another complete game as the Rangers were able to hold onto a lead forged by three runs over the first three innings en route to a 3-1 win over Richardson on Tuesday at Richardson H.S.

Senior Jack Sharp went 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored, while freshman Jake Fults drove in a run, scored twice and collected a 3-for-3 clip from the plate. Senior Myles Tucker added a double for the Rangers while additional hits were recorded by senior Cash Riley and junior Jonah Timmons.

Isett struck out six batters, only walked one and allowed one run on five hits. Jesuit was also immensely aggressive on the base paths, stealing 11 total bases. Fults led the way with four stolen bases on the night, including a steal of home in the third inning. Tucker, Sharp and sophomore Cameron Davis stole two bases apiece, while junior Callen Singhania recorded Jesuit's final stolen base of the game.

The series shifts to Wright Field on Friday, where the Rangers will close the district season at 7 p.m. against Richardson. Following Friday's district finale, the regular season will conclude on Saturday, Apr. 30 when the Rangers travel to Wylie H.S. to battle the Pirates.
