Jesuit Dallas was unable to plate the game-tying run in scoring position in the seventh, falling just short of completing a comeback against Waco Midway during a 3-2 setback on Saturday at Wright Field. The loss snaps a five-game winning streak for the Rangers.

Tommy Delaney launched his second home run of the year to start the inning, and finished the day 2-for-3 from the plate. Junior Jack Bar earned the start on the mound, throwing five innings and striking out five batters.
The Rangers will return to action on Tuesday, when the Blue and Gold welcomes Berkner to Wright Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
