The Rangers pieced together seven hits and had several opportunities to cut into an early Coppell lead, but some sensational defensive plays and heads-up base running pushed Coppell past the Rangers, 4-1, on Friday night at a packed Wright Field. Jesuit finishes the season with a 23-9 record, extended its postseason streak to 12 seasons, and clinched the program's eight straight bi-district championship.
