Jesuit Dallas pieced together several strong performances, placing eighth at the 2023 Richardson Roundup, held on Saturday, November 18 at Richardson H.S.
 
Sophomore Kingston Stephens was the Rangers' top finisher, placing second in the 106-pound bracket. Stephens began his tournament run with a 14-second win in the first period against Creekview's Rey Martinez before earning his way to the first-place final with a pin of Austin Saxon from Newman Smith.
 
Senior Oliver Collins placed 3rd in the 157-pound division, picking up four wins during his tournament run. Collins secured four pin fall victories, including a fall over Pearce's Alexis Gomez in the third-place match. Sophomore Trevor Leap earned a key victory in the consolation semifinal, pinning Pearce's Marko Rodriguez to punch his ticket to the third-place match. Sophomore Alex Shimon earned Jesuit's final top-five finish of the afternoon, placing fourth in the 126-pound racket with wins in the first consolation round and the consolation semifinal.
 
Senior Spencer Broussard won a pair of matches and scored seven points, while fellow fourth year Pablo Lopez secured four points of his own after starting his tournament run with a win in the championship quarterfinal. Sophomore Luke Bloodworth won his quarterfinal match, finishing the tournament with two points.
 
Jesuit Dallas will break for Thanksgiving and return to the mat for a dual match against Richardson on Nov. 29 at Walsh Gym. First duel is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
