Jesuit Dallas fell to hosting Jesuit Tampa in the championship semifinal of the 2023 Cookie Garcia Jesuit Invitational, dropping a 58-49 decision to the Tigers.
 
Junior Caleb Steger scored 21 points for Jesuit in the loss, followed by 14 points by junior Michael Grant. The Rangers fell victim to a hot-shooting Tampa squad that converted 46.7 percent of its three-point attempts, despite Jesuit's 26 points in the paint and 13 second chance points off of 11 offensive boards. Junior Charlie Peters had a strong performance for the Rangers, notching seven rebounds and four assists. Senior Hank Gramlich secured six boards, three assists and a steal.
