The Jesuit Dallas wrestling season concluded at the first day of the 2023 University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region 2-6A Tournament, held on Friday, Feb. 10 at Allen High School. Four Ranger grapplers competed at the event, with three scoring for the Blue and Gold.
Freshman Kingston Stephens competed in his first regional tournament after qualifying in the 106-pound division, and earned his first regional victory with a 7-5 win over Klein Oak's Christian Aranda, earning the win in sudden victory during the first consolation round. Junior
Oliver Collins picked up a regional win via pin fall against Dallas Dingman from Willis H.S. in the 157-pound division.

Dolen Hedrick secured a win of his own at 165 pounds with a second period pin of Jace Yarborough (Willis). Senior
Alex Lizardi was named a regional qualifier earlier in the week due to an in jury withdrawal, and competed at the regional level in his final season as a Jesuit Dallas wrestler at 132 pounds.
