Caleb Fisher on a corner kick from
Erwin Ordaz to stand as the deciding factor in a 1-0 Ranger win over Highland Park on Feb. 7 at Ranger Stadium. The Rangers secure their third district win of the year and improve their home record to 5-1-1.
Ordaz launched one of Jesuit's four corner kicks towards the middle of the box in the 49th minute, where Fisher sent a stellar header into the back of the net for the go-ahead goal. The shot was one of two on the night for the Blue and Gold, as the Rangers were out-shot by the Scots, 8-2. Highland Park acquired five corner kick chance compared to two for Jesuit, but Hines stood tall in goal for the Blue and Gold, making saves in the 72nd and 78th minutes.
Jesuit will travel to Lake Highlands on Friday, Feb. 10 to batle the Wildcats. kick-off is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. The Rangers will return to Ranger Stadium on Friday, Feb. 17 against Berkner.
