Junior Jason Ogbolu scored his fourth goal of the season, and a sensational, determined defensive performance led Jesuit Dallas to a 1-0 win over Lake Highlands on Friday at Ranger Stadium. The victory provides a two major points for the Blue and Gold ahead of the final three games of the regular season, as Jesuit begins a home stand that will see the Rangers play three of their final four games at home.

Ogbolu's goal came as the result of a sensational hustle play, as the junior intercepted an attempted clearing pass from a Lake Highlands defender to the goalkeeper, deflecting the ball into the back of the net for an early goal in the fifth minute. Jesuit Dallas would finish the contest with five shots, a pair of corner kicks and 10 free kicks.

Senior goalkeeper Cole Hines secured four saves for the Rangers, and the Jesuit Dallas defense blocked six Wildcat shot attempts to keep Ogbolu's tally intact. The Ranger defense withstood 15 shots from Lake Highlands along with four corners, holding off the Wildcats over the final 75 minutes to secure a critical district win.

Jesuit Dallas will travel to Berkner for a 7:15 p.m. kick-off on Tuesday before returning to Jesuit Dallas for a 7:15 p.m. kick off on Friday against Mar. 3. Prior to kickoff, Jesuit will recognize the soccer senior class of 2023.
