Rangers Pull Away Late to Secure Critical Road Win

Jesuit Dallas was led by a strong performance by senior Dylan Gibbons, who scored 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting to lead the Rangers to a 55-47 win over Berkner on Friday night in Richardson. The Rangers improve to 8-5 in league play with the win, which also serves as the final road gae of the regular season. Jesuit will finish the year out at Walsh Gymnasium, hunting for a playoff berth with a three-game home stand.

Gibbons was one of three double-digit scorers for Jesuit, as senior Tai Kryger scored 14 points while sophomore Caleb Steger added 10 points while securing a team-high eight rebounds. Junior Will Bronson led the team with three assists, senior Charlie Needham tacked on three steals, and the trio of Bronson, Needham and junior Hank Gramlich secured four points apiece. Senior Owen Berry finished out Jesuit's scoring lineup with three points on the night.

The Rangers will return to Walsh Gym on Tuesday, when Jesuit will battle Nimitz at 7 p.m. The homestand continues on Friday, Feb. 10 against Highland Park before finishing the regular season on Feb. 14 against Richardson.
