Jesuit Dallas scored two runs in the top of the eighth, snapping a 1-1 tie in extra innings en route to a 3-1 win over Highland Park on Friday at Scotland Yard.

Nick Barber reached on a walk, advanced to second on a balk by Highland Park and scored the go-ahead run off of a Scots error on contact by sophomore
Jake Fults. Senior
Jonah Timmons recorded the team's key hit with a double down the left field line that plated Fults and gave Jesuit a critical insurance run.Â

Jack Barr picked up the victory with 2.2 innings of hitless work, striking out three batters and keeping the Scots off the scoreboard. Senior
Luke Isett provided another strong start on the mound, throwing 5.1 innings and allowing one run on six hits with five strikeouts.
The Rangers finished the contest with four hits, recorded by Barber, Timmons, freshman
James Jorgensen and senior
Dominic Migliore. Barber scored Jesuit's first run of the game on a two-base error committed by Highland Park.
Jesuit will welcome the Scots to Wright Field for a 1:30 p.m. first pitch as the two teams are set to complete their district series. The Rangers will enter the contest looking for their third straight district sweep.
