Jesuit scored five runs in the first inning and scored at least one run in five of six innings en route to a dominant, 15-0 win over Lamar in the first game of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Region I-6A Bi-District Round on Thursday at Lamar High School. The Rangers take a 1-0 lead in the three-game series, and will look to sweep the Vikings on Friday at Wright Field.

Jake Fults launched the key hit of the first inning, a deep home run to left center field that stood as the first of four consecutive hits to start the top of the first for the Blue and Gold. Fults would finish the contest 2-for-2 from the plate with four RBI. Freshman

Luke Isett remained unbeaten on the year with a complete game shutout, striking out four batters while allowing no runs on four hits and two walks.
James Jorgensen and Fults tacked on triples to their strong performances while Jesuit finished the contest with six total stolen bases.
