A penalty kick goal by senior Jack Bradshaw awarded Jesuit its first district victory of the year, as the Rangers upended Berkner, 1-0 on January 17 at Ranger Stadium.
Bradshaw scored with 9:31 remaining in the second half, breaking a scoreless tie and allowing the vaunted Ranger defense the opportunity to secure the team's fourth shutout of the season. Jesuit out-shot Berkner, 21-1, yielding only three corner kick chances to the Rams.
The Rangers will finish the week on the road, battling Lake Highlands at 4 p.m. on January 19. The contest was changed from its original 7:15 p.m. time slot due to the cold weather scheduled for the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
